An overview of campaigns

You may, by now, be familiar with creating your own Image and video templates. These templates can now be prepared to be shared with your audience using Nexweave Campaigns.

Campaigns are the process by which you can make the Nexweave templates you have created/ cloned available to share with your target audience at scale. A video or an image template has to be launched through a campaign before it can be dispensed to your audience via email, chat, or published on a landing page.

Campaign Media types

By Media type, we are referring to the type of templates that are selected to create a campaign. These can be:

1. Image: This a campaign created to share a  single Image template.

2. Video: This is a campaign created to share a single Video template.

3. Image + Video: This is a campaign created to share a combination of Image and Video templates. An example of such a campaign would be an Image in an email that links to a landing page containing a personalized video.

Campaign Methods

Based on the method they employ for activation, campaigns can be distinguished into 3 types:

1. Bulk Link/ CSV Campaigns:

  • In this type of Campaign, you need to upload your audience information onto Nexweave via CSV, following which a unique media link is generated for each recipient row within the list.

  • These unique media links may then be uploaded to Email marketing or chat platforms and shared with your contact list.

  • This type of campaign method can generate links in bulk, however, it requires the contact list to be predefined and non-dynamic.

  • Bulk Link/ CSV campaigns can be created for all the media types discussed above.

  • To learn more about creating this kind of campaign, please refer to Running a Bulk Link Campaign.

2. URL Override Method:

  • In this campaign method, instead of multiple Unique links for each audience member, a single Embed Code or URL is generated for the selected Media template.

  • Based on the external platform you wish to share the media through, i.e an email marketing platform, chat platform etc. the Generated Embed code/ URL can be overridden for the personalization variables employed in these platforms.

  • Unlike a Bulk link campaign, a URL Campaign does not require audience information to generate the media links. Hence the generic code/ link extracted from Nexweave can be modified for audience information on the fly.

  • URL Override campaigns can also be created for all the media types discussed above.

  • To learn more about creating this kind of campaign, please refer to Running a URL Override Campaign.

3. Quick Campaigns:

Quick Campaigns can only be created and launched for a single media template.

  • They can be directly created from the template library when you click on Use against any template.

  • Quick Campaigns when run generates an Embed Code for the experience to be embedded within a landing page, as well as an experience URL to share the experience as is.

To learn more about creating this kind of campaign, please refer to Running a Quick Campaign.

All of your Created Campaigns are listed within the Campaigns section of the platform ordered by their creation date. You can learn more about managing your campaigns in the View and Manage your Campaigns article.
