Linked Helper Integration
Nexweave recently updated its UI and got a new look! You will notice differences (especially in the colours) between the graphics and screenshots you see in this article and the corresponding sections within the Nexweave platform. Don’t worry though, because the steps and processes this article details remain the same. Moreover, we’re going to updating this article to reflect our platform changes very soon. Stay tuned and keep reading!

Generate a URL and embed code for your images that is compatible with Linked Helper and directly plug them into the email builder on the Linked Helper platform!

For our demonstration, we are sharing a personalized image in the message. Here's an example of what your recipients would receive:

1. Start by configuring and launching a URL Override campaign in Nexweave. To learn how you can successfully run a URL campaign, please have a look at the linked article, or you can also refer to the video below:

2. Once your campaign is launched, click on Generate Embed Code.

3. In the embed code modal, set the Integration platform from the dropdown to Linked Helper.

4. Then, map each of the listed Nexweave variables with the corresponding Linked Helper variables by selecting them from the dropdown.

In case the variable list does not contain an appropriate match, you can also create your own platform variable from within the dropdown.

5. In our demonstration we have mapped the variables:

  • NAME : {firstName}

  • DOMAIN : {cs_domain}

Since LinkedIn Helper does not have a default tag for DOMAIN, we created {cs_domain} as a custom variable on Linked Helper. We added and created the same tag within Nexweave, as demonstrated below:

6. Click on Generate Embed code to get the email embed code compatible with the Linked Helper platform.

7. Within the Linked Helper platform, create a new campaign.

8. Under workflow, edit the message by adding the variables and the HTML code of the personalized image.

9. Copy the generated link from the Nexweave campaign, and paste it in the message box within Linked Helper.

Please note: The image in the message preview will appear with the merge tag name/default values. However, your audience will see their personal information once the message is released to them.

10. Afterwhich, contacts need to be added. This can be done by either uploading a CSV file or by choosing your preferred source and letting LinkedIn Helper search for contacts.

11. Once your message is designed and the contact list is added further, update the workflow and start running the campaign.
