Sendinblue Integration
Nexweave recently updated its UI and got a new look! You will notice differences (especially in the colours) between the graphics and screenshots you see in this article and the corresponding sections within the Nexweave platform. Don’t worry though, because the steps and processes this article details remain the same. Moreover, we’re going to updating this article to reflect our platform changes very soon. Stay tuned and keep reading!

Generate embed codes for your images and videos that are compatible with Sendinblue and directly plug them into the Email builder on the Sendinblue platform!

For our demonstration, we are sharing a personalised image in an email that hyperlinks to a video landing page. Here's an example of what your recipients would receive:

Let’s begin by creating a new campaign. If you are new to creating Nexweave campaigns, you can have a look at our campaign documentation here.

Configure a New Campaign

  1. Start by navigating to Campaigns, within Nexweave, and click on Create New Campaign.

  2. Set the Campaign Name and select the Campaign Type. You can read more about the available campaign types here.

Since we aim to use both Image and Video templates as a part of our campaign, we selected the campaign type as Image + Video. However, you may choose either Image or Video campaigns, based on your preference.

  • Next, select the Image and Video templates you would like to employ for this campaign.

For our demonstration we have selected:

  • Image Template: Video to Welcome you!
  • Video Template: Welcome to the family
  • Video Thumbnail: Thank you for registering with us
  1. Next, select the Image URL. This is the URL prefix for the image that is shared with your audience.

If you have an agency subscription to Nexweave, you can set your custom white label domain for Image and video links. Else, you can choose the default page hosted by Nexweave.

You can see the URL Preview just below.

  2. Then, select the Landing Page URL that your video will be embedded within. If you have an agency subscription to Nexweave, you can set your custom white label domain for the landing page.

  3.  If you do not have an Agency account, however, the landing page URL can be set to the default landing page, or you can select custom landing page, whether that is your sales page or website.

Image and landing page URLs have been discussed in detail within the agency account and campaigns sections of the knowledge base.

Your campaign configuration is complete, let us proceed to activate the campaign!

Set the Activation method

  1. Start by selecting the Activation Method from the drop-down. Here, select URL Override Campaign. You can learn about other campaign methods here

  2. Once URL Override is selected, you will be prompted to enter the Fallback values for the Nexweave variables being used in the selected templates. Click on Save to confirm the fallback values.

Once you save the campaign, you can also preview the Image and Video templates selected.

  1. Click on Launch Campaign. This will then enable you to generate embed codes for the image and video templates.

  2. Once you launch, click on Get Embed Code to open the modal. Set Sendinblue as the Integration platform from the dropdown.

  3. Then map each of the Nexweave variables listed here, with the corresponding Sendinblue variables by selecting them from the dropdown.

In case the variable list does not contain an appropriate match, you can also create your own variable from within the dropdown, or choose to skip the variable.

  1. Finally, click on Generate Embed code to get the email embed code compatible with the Sendinblue platform.

The Image + Video embed code generated here will be inserted in the Sendinblue email editor, in the following steps.

Create a Sendinblue Email Campaign

  1. Start by logging into your Sendinblue account

  2. Before creating a campaign, ensure that your Sendinblue Contact List is imported and available within the platform.

  3. To start, navigate to Campaigns, and click on Create a New Campaign.

  1. Specify the Campaign and email details such as the Campaign Name, Subject Line, Preview Text, From Email, and From Name.

  2. To add personalisation to the Subject and Preview Text, click on Add Personalisation.

Then, select the attribute you would like to include in your email and a fallback value, in case the attribute has missing information for any contact in your list.

    Click on Next to continue.

  1. You will then be prompted to select the method to design your email. For our demonstration, we are selecting the Drag and Drop Editor

You may select any of the other available methods or choose one of Sendinblue’s Email templates.

  1. Within the Drag & Drop Editor, you can drag any of the Elements from the left and drop them within the email body. To type in your message within the email, drag and drop the Text Element onto the email body.

  2. To add personalisation to the text, click on Personalise within the text editor. From the dropdown, select the variable you would like to include.

  3. To add the personalised image to the email body, add another Text Element to the email body.
Within the text editor, click on <> to launch the HTML editor.

  4. Copy the embed code generated from the Nexweave Campaign and paste it into the HTML code editor

Please note: You may not be able to see the image while editing the email, however the same will be reflected during the preview and when you share the email.

  1. You can click on Send Test Mail and enter a sample email address to see a preview of how your email will look to your audience.

  1. Once your email body is configured and tested, click on Save & Quit to continue.

  2. Next, select and confirm your Contact List.

  3. Finally, click on Schedule to schedule and send your campaign. You can choose to schedule this for a later time or Send Now!

Your personalised emails will be on their way to impress your audience!
